Chicago, Illinois just along Lake Michigan, is among the largest cities in the U.S. Famed for its bold architecture, it has a skyline punctuated by skyscrapers such as the iconic John Hancock Center, 1,451-ft. Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) and the neo-Gothic Tribune Tower. The city is also renowned for its museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago with its noted Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works.

Housing Tips:

  • Lots of public transportation, do not need to look for places with parking for a car

  • The Flats at East West University ($1200 for own room, August-December lease)

  • Airbnb with other co-ops ($600-900)

  • Check Local Facebook groups (DePaul College Campus)

  • Please avoid using Craigslist as it is not very reliable​​
